You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in
the WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT DEPARTMENT KEYPORT of NAVSUP FLT
LOGISTICS CNTR PUGET SOUND.

- You will assign oral and written projects outlining the
objectives desired, time requirements and the general approach
to be followed.
- You will recommend policy and/or procedural changes for improved
supply effectiveness and responsiveness.
- You will perform critical analysis of programs and problems
associated with supply systems.
- You will plan and determine current and future supply
requirements to meet customer needs.
- You will analyze operational reports to plan work schedules to
anticipate problems and pinpoint causes of material support
- You will initiate improvement in inventory management operations
by analyzing historical and current data reports to identify
discrepancies, problems, incompatibilities and redundancies.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized
experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) or pay band in the
federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public
sector having a technical knowledge of applied principles, concepts,
and methodologies of inventory management performing research,
analyze independently and resolve difficult inventory management
issues and problems involving, for example supply processes, work
methods or supply data management. Utilize and obtain statistics
from multiple supply data management systems such as Navy Enterprise
Resource Planning (N-ERP). Examples of specialized experience may
include: 1) Recommend policy and/or procedural changes for improved
supply effectiveness and responsiveness; 2) Monitor inventory
investment level to ensure financial targets are met; 3) Analyze
operational reports to plan work schedules to anticipate problems
and pinpoint causes of material support deficiencies.
