### Summary

You will serve as a Supervisory Industrial Property Management
Specialist in the Government Property Administration of the
SUPSHIP.

### Responsibilities

- You will be responsible for property administration and
fiduciary oversight of Government Owned Property (GOP),
including all plant clearance actions, acquired through
construction and design/development/modernization contracts.
- You will plan, oversee and execute a Government Property
Administration Program in accordance with the Federal
Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition
Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and Acquisition Regulation
Supplement (NMCARS).
- You will be responsible for the overall control and surveillance
of Government Nuclear and Non-Nuclear property.
- You will develop and implement new strategies by analyzing key
business and industry factors.
- You will analyze key business and industry policy questions and
contribute to significant agency decisions, policy
recommendations and positions.
- You will review the Contractor's Property Control Systems.
- You will manage and provide Government Property oversight for
ships with sophisticated weapons and combat systems, controlling
all types of Agency Peculiar Property, Material, Special
Tooling, Special Test Equipment, and Facilities.
- You will supervise four or more Industrial Property Management
Specialists (GS-1103-11) assigned to the GPA Division, including
a Plant Clearance Officer (PLCO).

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of

retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the

- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment
physical examination.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce
Improvement Act (DAWIA). You must be certified as a Career Field
Industrial / Contract Property Management Level III.
Certification is required within 24 months of appointment.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to
CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You
must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for
extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or
final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to
obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result
in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

### Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized
experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band
(NH-02) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the
private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate
the following: **Planning or executing a property management program
in accordance with federal or agency regulation to meet industrial
property management requirements.**
