Summary
This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of
anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through

You will serve as a MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR I with NAVFAC
SOUTHWEST.

Responsibilities
  • You will evaluate working conditions in all areas supervised,
addressing occupational hazards in shops and work sites.
  • You will reassure that schedules are met, resources are
coordinated and the distribution of workload is balanced to
provide optimum operational cost and performance at maximum
customer satisfaction.
  • You will plan weekly and monthly work schedules and sequence of
operations for subordinates.
  • You will organize subordinates into effective working units,
assign tasks, explain work requirements, methods, procedures,
and standards.
  • You will coordinate pre-construction actions with other
departments.
  • You will evaluate working conditions in all work areas
supervised, addressing occupational hazards in shops and work
sites.
  • You will develop performance standards, review job descriptions
to ensure they are current, and accurate making necessary
changes.
  • You will carry out EEO policies and communicate support for
these policies to subordinates.

40 hour work week is typical for this position.
This position may be required to work overtime and call back to work
emergency overtime (weekends/holidays).
This position may require the ability to obtain license for the
operation of Fork Lift/ High Lift/ or Construction equipment upon
notification.
Position may require respirator certification.

A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to
