Job Description


High School Diploma or GED Certificate.

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, New Media or related field

3 years in researching, planning, developing print, digital media, writing and producing multi-media communications, daily content for social media platforms, photography and videography/editing, and public relations experience

Valid Driver's License required (subject to motor vehicle record review)


Conceptualizes, designs, writes, edits, posts social media materials, videos, press releases, emails, and other public information communications; determines format, approach, content, level, and medium.

Develop short stories in support of the NTUA's public education efforts across digital platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.

Works from rough copy and prepares materials for reproduction through the use of desktop publishing systems, graphic design, and multiple software programs.

Respond to interaction and engagement on all social media channels and review sites.

Assist with fielding social media inquiries and overseeing social media requests, including on-line chat.

Develops and implements concepts, policies, and standards for the operation of the web site, within overall goals and parameters established by management of the organization; designs consistent methodologies for the development of internet resources across the organization.

Designs and produces camera-ready art including graphs, charts, clip art, posters, digitization of graphics, line-art, and/or photos.

Coordinates, integrates, and manages information contributed to the web site; establishes template formats and logical structures for web pages, as appropriate.

Tests new multimedia technologies and evaluates applications; configures, maintains, upgrades and troubleshoots resource studio multimedia technologies.

Produces internal and external newsletters, brochures, public information material.

Produces steady production of stories and development of press releases.

Maintain photography and videography for social media, press releases, advertising and company promotions.

Maintains public relations database, documenting media coverage, and tracking social media metrics.

Assists with the organization and execution of various public information events.

Prepares or assists with the preparation of scheduled and/or ad hoc statistical and narrative reports; performs information gathering and analysis and/or forecasting, as specifically directed.

Maintains records in accordance with established policies and procedures and audit guidelines.

Performs other duties as assigned.
