A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Our corporate IT department (as well as our entire company) is continuously expanding. A qualified candidate will help us with help-desk support, IT equipment management, software systems management, network management, server and virtual machine management, and data management. They will have the opportunity to help our employees serve our customers by fielding requests involving various IT resources. Triaging, prioritizing, and resolving IT issues will be a constant feature of this position, therefore excellent time management will be vital. The IT Support Specialist will also maintain our equipment inventory, troubleshooting and repairing equipment as needed. Additionally, strong documentation skills are essential. They will help us continue to centralize and organize Naturescape IT knowledge by clearly and concisely communicating procedures and systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent communication skills and a strong competency in IT are desired; experience with Linux will be necessary, and familiarity with JavaScript/HTML may be helpful. This position will grow with the company, and a good candidate must be ready and willing to do the same, possibly taking on additional duties in more advanced areas, depending on skill set. We are looking for a fast learner with not only a good set of IT skills, but also flexibility and a willingness to improve.
