We are looking for a strategic Marketing Manager for our corporate business, who will be responsible for brand management and lead generation. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, entrepreneurially-minded candidate with a scrappy mentality who is eager to apply marketing fundamentals to stepchange growth for a startup with steady business.
The ideal candidate is adept at performing macro-level market analysis and micro-level customer interviews to form a comprehensive brand strategy for the corporate business. The candidate will also be responsible for taking this strategy to execution in customer segmentation targeting, creation of collateral, and leading marketing campaigns across acquisition channels. This position reports directly to the VP of Marketing and will play a crucial role in achieving business goals for the next 12 months and beyond.
+ Understand the competitive positioning and core capabilities of the corporate business among the B2B industry to redefine the core customer segmentation profile.
+ Formulate a comprehensive brand strategy and customer targeting approach.
+ Create a marketing strategy to identify highest efficiency acquisition channels such as affiliates, display, and social media in addition to existing programmatic SEM and SEO channels.
+ Manage agencies responsible for campaign creation and management with the option to replace or bring talent in-house (or outsourcing to private contractors).
+ Monitor reporting, analysis, and optimization across channels, establishing KPIs and reporting frameworks.
+ Oversee collateral and design creation for marketing campaigns, including creation of new landing pages and user flows as needed per channel. Leverage use of limited internal resources and external contractors / agencies for creative & content.
A Successful Candidate Will Have Many Of The Following
+ 4-6 years experience in brand management or marketing with experience leading customer acquisition through digital, particularly for a B2B business.
+ Strong understanding of sales funnel cohort analysis & customer acquisition metrics.
+ Experience with brand identity, customer ethnography, and strategic management.
+ Experience in Google Adwords, Tag Manager, Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign manager, and other site analytics tools -- and demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly
+ Strong analytical skills and very comfortable with numbers; you love data, but you also know how to translate numbers into meaningful business recommendations.
+ Skilled at balancing strategy and execution.
+ Willingness to ask bold questions, navigate tough decisions and tradeoffs, focus on the big swings, and operate with empathy for users
