Corporate Strategic Analyst

Summary: The role involves providing financial and strategic analysis support to Dresser Utility Solutions’ C-suite. The responsibilities include creating strategic financial models, building DCF and NPV models, developing long term strategic plans, assisting with board of directors reporting, maintaining the Sales Incentive Plan, supporting Power BI reporting, evaluating M&A opportunities, and performing ad-hoc analysis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance or engineering, MBA, preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in an investment banking, consulting, FP&A, Corporate Development, Strategic Planning, or similar role.
• Strong background in DCF, NPV and precedent transaction valuation analysis, business reporting systems, analytics, statistics and/or finance.
• Ability to develop and systematize regular reporting and deep understanding of financial statements.
• Comfortable working in cross functional teams in an international, multicultural environment.
• Excellent analytical, verbal, written, communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office with advanced spreadsheet and presentation-building abilities.

Duties:

• Build DCF, NPV and other financial analyses for acquisition candidates and other investment opportunities.
• Collaborate with global leadership team of Dresser Utility Solutions.
• Aid in consolidating and developing the strategic plan, building long-term, strategic financial models, support M&A analysis through market research and financial modeling.
• Develop and maintain commercial forecasts, results, and reporting.
• Assist in creating executive dashboards in Power BI.
• Conduct research and build analyses to support strategic initiatives.
• Lead the creation and development of competitive analysis, growth opportunities, market analysis, profit pools and strategic recommendations for Executives and the BOD.
• Support analysis and tracking of Global Sales incentive plan.
• Provide FP&A support as required.
