Assistant Director of Nursing

We are seeking an Assistant Director Of Nursing to join our team! You will be responsible for the assessment, and treatment of assigned patients.

Responsibilities:

• Clients visit as needed
• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
• Establish patient treatment plans/goals
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
• Communicate with collaborating physicians, specialists, and case managers regarding patient care
• Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Maintain accurate patient medical records
• Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
• QA
• Supervise clinical staff
• Train new clinical staff during on boarding process
• Knowledge of Medicare/Ohio Medicaid Regulation
• Be familiar with ICD 10 coding

Qualifications:

• Ohio RN License 
• Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields (1-2 years of Home Care experience)
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment 
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
