The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Strategic Planning Specialist to work directly with our CEO. In this role, you will bring your intellectual curiosity and entrepreneurial mindset to lead key initiatives at a cutting edge, quickly growing company. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, personable, and capable of managing workloads and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced corporate environment. This is a critical role and requires someone highly organized who is capable of collaborating effectively with NRG's CEO and senior leadership. The Role
  • Ideate, plan and track the progress of key initiatives for the CEO
  • Partner with the Global Marketing team to prepare the CEO for events such as panel discussions and conferences
  • Work closely with the Assistant to the CEO/COO to ensure that all meetings, deadlines, presentations and other duties are performed seamlessly
  • Communicate directly, and on behalf of the CEO, with senior leadership and staff throughout the organization, as well as with clients
  • Help to develop presentations and messaging for meetings with NRG's parent company, Stagwell Inc
  • Manage meetings for the CEO including, but not limited to, setting the agenda, providing insights and analysis to inform strategic conversations, and tracking follow-through to ensure accountability
  • Assist with the creation of agendas and presentation notes for leadership meetings and All Hands meetings
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and have a strong understanding of the needs of the organization and help to prioritize conflicting needs as necessary

Who You Are
  • 2-3 years' relevant experience working with senior leaders
  • BA/BS in business, economics or related field with a strong academic record
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent PowerPoint, Excel, written and visual communication skills. Ideally, experience with other platforms such as Google Docs, Slides, Keynote, etc.
  • Strong interest and/or experience in entertainment and technology
  • Experience in a research agency a plus

Position Type

This is a full-time, exempt position.

Work Environment

NRG provides flexible work options - employees will be given the choice to work remotely, work out of a designated office (Playa Vista or New York) or a hybrid of the two. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
