Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to provide screening, diagnosis, and treatment of acute psychiatric illnesses per state and federal laws and regulations to treat illness, improve health status, and provide preventative care in a collaborative environment.
We represent a local psychiatric, substance abuse facility with a robust co-occurring population for adults only. They are committed to providing comprehensive, person-centered behavioral health treatment for consumers who suffer from substance abuse disorders, co-occurring medical and psychiatric conditions, and primary mental illness.
Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-4: 30 p.m. or 8: 30 a.m. - 5 p.m.with one weekend, Saturday and Sunday, per month. Responsible for the provision of in-patient psychiatric service for our campus, which serves an adult patient population, acute to rehab level of care. Very robust co-occurring community. The scheduler will assign the physician patients.
Education/Qualification Requirements:

Education/Qualification Requirements:
- MD or DO degree with a current DEA registration.
- Completion of an approved Adult Psychiatry Residency.
- Three to five years of professional experience in treatment or mental health facility preferred.
