Sales Representative - Casper, WY

Job Summary:
 
The Sales Representative position will be accountable for the growth and development of NOV MD Totco products and services, including but not limited to surface drilling instrumentation, drilling optimization products and services for Rockies & Williston Basin Accounts. The position will promote MD Totco capabilities by interacting with potential and existing customers and develop new opportunities by utilizing company preferred sales approach. The Sales Representative will provide coverage and relationship growth with customers and potential clients. The Sales Representative will create strategy specific to each customer. The Sales Representative will report to the Area Sales Manager.  
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Responsible for generating rental and sales revenue to meet or exceed assigned sales projections by making interactive sales visits to customer office and rig locations throughout the Rockies & North Dakota.
  • Travel to customer offices and field locations in Wyoming, Colorado, Montana, & North Dakota
  • Maintain contact with an established customer base; identify and establish new clients.
  • Communicate and strategize with the sales team on all related client issues.
  • Prepare and deliver bids for customers with a follow up report to sales manager.
  • Work in conjunction with operations personnel to ensure above expected customer service is achieved.
  • Work with technical support and customers to ensure completeness and accuracy of information.
  • Evaluate market requirements and competitor capabilities.
  • Assist in credit worthiness assessments and collection of all delinquent accounts.
  • Attend functions when necessary to keep in contact with customer.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE procedures and policies.
  • Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
  • Construct business plans.
  • Generate competitive analysis.
  • Be able to work with Sales/Product Line Management/NOV to develop seamless solutions and improve on existing capabilities.
  • Complete rig calls and office visits.
  • Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
  • To support the National Oilwell Varco Sales Best Practice methodology.  
Qualifications
 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Incumbent must reside in territory location assigned.
  • 5  years outside sales and account management experience. 
  • Knowledgeable of NOV MD Totco capabilities and solutions preferred.
  • Oil & Gas experience required
