Why Work Here?

Awesome and engaging non-profit mission, stability, great relationships, lots of room for future professional growth!

The National Defense Information Sharing and Analysis Center (NDISAC) is the Defense Industrial Base’s non-profit organization formed to enhance the security and resiliency of the defense industry and its strategic partners. The NDISAC provides defense sector stakeholders a community and forum for sharing cyber and physical security threat information, best practices and mitigation strategies and is established to serve as the Defense sector's operational coordination mechanism for the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). The Defense Security Information Exchange (DSIE) was established on February 19, 2008 as a member-based cyber information-sharing body focused on protecting and defending DIB critical cyber networks and systems and protecting the information residing on those networks and systems. Formalized as a non-profit information sharing and analysis organization during 2015, this mission rapidly grew to include promoting the security maturity of DIB companies as well as their suppliers and other interdependent interests. In 2017, this mission was integrated and merged within a non-profit incorporated in the District of Columbia as a 501(c)(4) not-for-profit organization and named the National Defense Information Sharing and Analysis Center or NDISAC. The NDISAC continues to support the interests of and to do business as DSIE, and includes other cyber security and all-hazards threat sharing; the publication of industry-wide alerts, warning and notifications capabilities; the ability to pull together and sustain working groups across diverse subject matter areas relevant to the DIB; and the ability to develop and provide information and services supporting the DIB, its suppliers, and interdependent interests. NDISAC is recognized nationally within the U.S. as the ISAC for the nation’s defense industry critical infrastructure sector by the Defense Industry Sector Coordinating Council, the US Department of Homeland Security, and the National Council of ISACs.
