+ Perform in depth analysis and reconciliation of all Balance Sheet and key Income Statement accounts on a monthly basis.
+ Recording fixed assets-analyze invoices of capital expenditures, and determine which qualify to be capitalized vs. expensed per fixed asset policy.
+ Daily interactions with supervisor, director, property management, RPLs, and other departments assisting with questions and resolving issues as they occur.
+ Perform in depth analysis and reconciliation for special circumstances such as property refinances, new management contracts, property acquisitions, and construction projects, as they occur.
+ Prepare all monthly, quarterly and annual reports, and responses to HUD requests for information by their respective due dates.
Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting.
Experience: 0-3 years experience in accounting, with a focus in property management/real estate accounting preferred
Communication: Must have good communication, comprehension, computer and interpersonal skills.
Skills: Must have working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office Suite
