Sales Director
Responsibilities:
Manage the territory by using tools such as Gmail, Google Maps, Trello and Zoho (CRM) to track leads, travel schedules and proposals.
Establish relationships with and service all targeted clinics / personnel to maintain and grow relevance and access within each account.
Make outbound calls or visits to veterinary clinics in an assigned territory.
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
Tasks will include building up the territory by creating new prospect accounts, pipeline management, email sequences, campaigns, and tracking all communication with prospects.
Support pull-through efforts of new clients who have not made a complete transition.
Participate in upcoming tradeshows and special events as needed.
Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.
Report on forces that shape strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets.
Developing and promoting weekly, monthly and quarterly sales objectives.
Candidate Requirements:
1 year of sales experience preferred, but not required.
Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) preferred.
Animal Health experience is preferred, but not required.
High-energy attitude – someone who is excited to be successful in sales is required.
Ability to exercise good judgment and make thoughtful / fair decisions based on relevant information.
Follow-through and attention to detail.
Professional demeanor and presentation style.
Exhibit willingness to accept and incorporate feedback.
Technical Skills Requirements:
Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, and other Google products.
Verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
*Job is mostly remote with occasional clinic visits
