Under the supervision of manager, performs routine record center support functions such as pulling files, creating folders, labeling, re-filing documents, and shelving; packing boxes and preparing them for shipment; bates stamping; ordering supplies; retrieving case materials; completing log sheets; answering phones; logging messages; faxing information, etc. Prepares documents for storage or for further data processing (i.e., imaging, microfilming). Assembles/disassembles documents as required, taking care to ensure that original documents are reassembled exactly to their original state. Maintains inventory/control records. Performs simple typing assignments using word processing equipment and manual typewriters.
- At least two years’ experience in records/information services
- Must be detail-oriented, dependable, and able to do routine work along with organizational skills
- Basic computer skills, data entry experience
- Four or more years of general office experience
