Internship - Shoulder Fire Systems Intern Engineer

Nammo Defense Systems, Inc. (NDS), a United States Department of Defense contractor, is part of the Nammo Group (Nammo AS). NDS develops, manufactures and supports shoulder-fired weapons; energetic material solutions such as aircraft emergency escape systems, actuation devices, rocket motors, and warheads; and composite solutions including carbon fiber tubes and composite aero-structures.

NOTE: This is a PAID Internship. *Local candidates only* Full-time during summer break and Part-time hours during the regularly scheduled academic calendar.

Primary Responsibilities

This role will perform various Engineering projects as a member of the Shoulder Fired Systems organization and will include:

· Support propellant/explosive processing operations

· Preparation of sample hardware for testing

· Test data analysis

· Organization and documentation of historical technical data

· Support internal research and development programs

· Support current production programs

· Present data, conclusions, and recommendations to team and management as required

Requirements, Education & Skills

· Currently enrolled and/or attending college in a Mechanical, Aerospace, or Chemical Engineering program

· Proficiency with software applications for engineering and business to include MS Office applications

· Excellent critical thinking, communication, reading and writing skills

· Other duties as required by management
