JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Sales Support Specialist is part of a team that handles incoming leads and manages the back-end loan processes for the Residential Sales Team. The role emphasizes education of the consumer while providing superior customer service. This position combines both technical and administrative duties and will learn the fundamentals of solar PV design and the administrative side of the PV sales process. Other responsibilities include, responding to customer requests and performing general administrative duties for the sales department.

RESPONSIBILITIES (In order of importance):

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Take incoming sales leads via phone calls, email and web inquiries
  • Gather pertinent info from leads to qualify them and convert into an opportunity
  • Receive and respond to customer requests throughout the sales cycle
  • Manage customer loan documents from loan approval through invoicing
  • Interface with our banking partners to process loans, gather signatures and resolve issues
  • Assist sales team with creation of PV designs using Aurora Solar PV Design software
  • Perform general office & administrative tasks as requested
  • Perform market analysis on local and other markets
  • Manage sales collateral tracking and inventory for both Denver and Boulder offices
  • Manage and track customer satisfaction surveys
  • Assist Sales Manager with various ongoing team projects

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Proficient with computers and the following applications: MS Office and Web research competency
  • Effective problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Highly effective communicator with excellent telephone-based customer service skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

NON-ESSENTIAL (Valued but not required skills and experience):

  • Experience working with Salesforce CRM software
  • Experience using Aurora Solar PV design software
  • Experience processing solar loans

COMPENSATION AND TERMS

  • Position is full-time, based in Boulder or Denver, CO
  • Starting wage range is $16-18/hr (depending on experience)
