The position requires answering the phone, assisting with light administrative support and clerical duties. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with organizational strengths and strong customer service. Good functional knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong oral and written communication skills.
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9AM-5:30PM
Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
--Respond to email and phone inquiries about general questions
-- Provide general assistance to office, receiving, opening, and sorting incoming mail
-- Scanning mail to appropriate departments via ticket system (ZenDesk)
-- Prepping and stamping postage on outgoing mail
-- Filing client papers and folders
-- Creating or updating client information in system records database
-- Interacting with clients to obtain missing information needed for account creation
-- Opening and closing accounts with State and Local tax authorities
-- Linking accounts to company's master tax accounts
-- Interacting with tax authorities to resolve outstanding issues
-- Placing service calls for office equipment as needed
-- Ordering office supplies as needed
Skills & Qualifications:
-- 1 -2 years of work experience in a professional setting
- Must pass a background check
