Job Description

NVP Warranty, a fast-growing company is looking for a competitive Territory Manager/Field Sales Representative in the Buffalo, New York area to help develop sales strategies and attract independent and franchise car dealerships as clients. The successful sales representative will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve company goals and objectives. The successful candidate will also play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with dealers, qualifying prospective dealers, generating leads, and managing sales of products and services.

This position offers an annual base pay of $36,000 to 48,000 annually with a potential for a significant monthly bonus based on sales performance.


-          Establish prospective customers by using sales methods such as leads based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, auto trader ads, referrals, internet web sites, cold calls, representing NVP at industry/trade association events, trade shows, and auto auctions to promote ASU products  

-          Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads in an efficient professional manner

-          Forecast sales and develop out of the box sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness

-          Develop and maintain long-term Dealer-Partner business relationships through frequent service calls, relationship building, training, and issue resolution

-          Monitor and evaluate sales activities and products of the competitors

-          Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data

-          Maintain and expand customer database within your assigned territory


-          Proven sales experience of at least (1) one year preferably in the automotive industry

-          Track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas and budgets

-          Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management

-          Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite  

-          Strong communication, negotiation, follow up, and interpersonal skills

-          Must be self-motivated, results driven, accountable, professional, and collaborative with a can-do attitude

-          Must have reliable transportation with a valid and clean driver’s license

-          Willing to travel within assigned territory daily

-          Ability to manage a dealer account group of up to 40 locations  

-          High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
