Customer Service Representative

Overview:

Reporting to the Director, Supply Chain & New Business Development, Customer Service Representative is the Inside Sales Support to Outside Sales Reps; ensuring customer’s needs are met regarding orders. This includes answering inquiries on orders, pricing, product, and problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities

·          Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.

·          Responding promptly to customer and 3PL inquiries.

·          Communicating with customers ad 3PL through e-mail and phone communication

·          Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.

·          Tracking appointments of outbound shipments

·          Transferring inventory from warehouse to 3PL’s in SAP

·          Keeping records of customer interactions, including BOL’s and transfer receipts

·          Communicating and coordinating with colleagues, as necessary.

·          Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.

·          Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.

Requirements

·          High school diploma, general education degree, or equivalent.

·          Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.

·          Comfortable using computers.

·          Experience working with customer support.

·          Experience as a Customer Support Specialist or similar CS role

·          Familiarity with manufacturing industry is an asset

·          Understanding of how CRM systems work

·          Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

·          Multi-tasking abilities

·          Patience when handling tough cases.
