Location: Lehi, UT

Schedule: Compressed 12-hour 3 on 4off, 4 on 3off

General Job Summary

Job Responsibilities:

• Technicians work on systems and maintain supply of chemicals and gases to a semiconductor manufacturing environment that makes the chips used in electronic devices such as Smart Phones, LEDs, and Flat Screen TV's
• Technicians will be responsible for the safe operation of assigned chemical and/or gas distribution systems, with duties including:
• Handling and change-out of gas, chemical, and slurry containers
• Gas and chemical equipment troubleshooting and preventative/repair maintenance.
• Computer operations to support job functions and customer needs.
• Support of quality systems

Physical Attributes:

• May work from heights on ladders or lifts (utilizing fall protection)
• May need to work in full PPE and SCBA - respirator system, which requires technician to be clean shaven.
• Basic lifting (up to 50lbs) and use carts to maneuver gas cylinders or chemical drums.
• Walking 5+ miles per shift, bending of the knees and overhead reaching
• PPE made available to workers includes safety glasses, hard hat, ear plugs, chemical aprons, gloves, etc. Worker will be provided with vouchers to purchase safety boots, which they are required to wear.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent; AA or certifications a plus

Experience:

• 2+ in relative experience in facility maintenance, an equipment technician, or in a mechanical or electronic environment
