Field Service Engineer

Location: Hillsboro, OR

Job Responsibilities:

• Strong Mechanical and Electrical aptitude in regard to Equipment and Set up, previous chemical equipment experience or Wet Process Fab Equipment a plus
• Previous Experience with SubFab Equipment Chemical or Gas Distribution, Pump & Abatement or any Wet Process fab equipment
• Respond to Client requests via email/verbal with regards to scheduling tool downs, upcoming PMs, troubleshooting, etc.
• Position is based in Oregon but will travel up to 50% of the time supporting other site client installs.
• Must have excellent communication both verbal and written with regards to site client managers/owners and working with the Equipment Manufacture Engineering and Sales teams.
• Understanding Semiconductor environment and safety processes
• Electrical work will involve matching connectors, labeling, roll up of multiple cables and install in clean manner.
• Understand PFA type connections and processes, along with standard mechanical connections
• Manage un-package and layout area, keep clean and organized
• Controls experience / understanding – must be able to work thru touch screen control panel for verifying operation.

Operations & Maintenance:

• Maintain Chemical Distribution Equipment for scheduled and non -schedule downs, Preventative Maintenance, Troubleshooting
• Troubleshooting, answer alarms, verify delivery, etc.
• Record and Document all maintenance, alarms, escalations
• Provide all shift notes and issues for shift pass down

Education:

• 3+ Industry experience, Military equivalent, AA+

Experience:

• 3+ with SEMI Wet Process equipment or Chemical Distribution equipment.
