POSITION: Customer Service/Administrator
REPORTS TO: General Manager/Lab Manager
Administration functions for Tra-Cal and NSCA
Interaction with customers via calls and emails
Continual communication with GM and lab manager
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administration / Accounts / Quotes
Deposits – submit bank deposits after GM approval
Maintain updated ACT database
Format pricing from GM into customer quote
Checking in Tra-Cal customer equipment
Preparing calibration certifications for outsourced equipment
Customer service calls
Send calibration due date reminder emails
Monthly statements – send overdue invoices to customers
Contact customers regarding overdue invoices
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred (or a combination of education and significant career
equivalent work experience) is required in a related Technical or Business discipline.
Experience: Three or more years of career-level experience in industry.
Knowledge: Practical understanding and working knowledge of general purpose test equipment. Ability
to perform a level of consultation to our customers and help team development, where applicable.
Communication & Customer Interfacing Experience: Significant customer interface experience is
required, along with good written/verbal communication skills, and presentation skills.
Other: Candidate must be a strong self-starter, drive themselves to achieve the goals of the job, display
and use good judgment and demonstrate positive and professional interpersonal skills at all times.
