As a technical/business analyst, a successful candidate will have a background in the telecom industry. They will provide technical solutions to our client's business community to meet user needs. Besides the telecom expertise, the position requires the ability to collaborate with both development teams and the business community. JOB SUMMARY This position is within the Digital Platforms Organizations Buyflow Services department.

Focused on creating, maintaining, and organizing process-related documentation for the operations teams, the ideal candidate will have a high aptitude for investigative interviewing, process mapping, and authoring detailed documentation. As a key player on a team dedicated to ensuring the stability of numerous revenue generating applications for a Fortune 100 company, this analyst is responsible for working with the Client's internal and external groups to define business-critical processes, audit process documentation, identify opportunities for improvements, and communicate updates. To succeed in these efforts, this person will engage in design and development conversations, seek out information in a number of repositories, and host meetings to gather relevant details and approvals. RESPONSIBILITIES As an integral part of the support team, and a liaison to the internal process team, some of this business process analyst responsibilities include but are not limited to: Interviewing application team members to understand their current processes, rationale, dependencies, and concerns. Collaborating with application and shared service teams to create or enhance policies and processes to achieve compliance while improve efficiencies. Auditing and performing gap analysis of operational process documentation, pulling in technical teams and SMEs and needed, including DR plans, access management policies, SDLC documents, and data flow diagrams. Clearly defining and developing new policies, processes, and training documents. Hosting meetings with members of leadership and department teams to communicate new processes and changes to existing processes. Encouraging adoption and adherence to processes. Providing guidance to junior members of the team as needed. EXPECTED SKILLS: At least 5 years of experience in a software engineering or IT environment. At least 2 years in a role responsible for process engineering, maintenance, and improvement. Experience developing content on Confluence using a wide array of macros. Intricate knowledge of the system-side application of PCI, SOX, SOC II, or other compliance requirements a big plus. Very strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to capture and articulate technical and non-technical details, as well as elaborate process flows. A strong, team oriented spirit, and a positive, exuberant personality focused on learning and overcoming obstacles. A solid understanding of Lean, BPI, Kaizen, CMMI, or other process improvement models. The ability to rapidly learn, recite and teach complex, interwoven processes. Experience working with teams supporting applications related to eCommerce or customer self-service is a plus. Proven ability to align stakeholders to goals and negotiate to acceptable outcomes. Experience with Agile practices and ceremonies Organized and able to work across teams on multiple applications.
