NOV Rig Technologies is currently recruiting for a CNC Machinist to join our team at our Orange, California location, the main responsibilities of this role include\\\:
Maintain the NC and MDI machine tools in a condition that permits the efficient fabrication of products to meet the company profit objectives.
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electronic and mechanical systems on NC and MDI machine tools.
Perform duties to include the adjustment and repair of electronic systems as well as spindles, slides, drive gear box hydraulic systems and other equipment as required.
Perform preventative maintenance duties that detect early signs of failure or incorrect adjustment.
Communicate and listen to operators, vendors and other maintenance personnel to insure maximum utilization of machines.
Perform various general maintenance duties as required.
Report unsafe conditions, broken or malfunctioning equipment to Maintenance and Production Supervisor
High school diploma or equivalent, with 5 years experience in the repair of NC machines.
Sufficient mechanical and electronic knowledge to read, understand, interpret, troubleshoot and repair NC machines using manuals and schematics.
