Job Description

 We are a local Albany medical supply business looking for the ideal customer service professional to join our dynamic team.  This position requires past experience working in an office setting.  The responsibilities  of this position include customer service, record keeping, processing orders and dispensing medical supplies.

We welcome applicants with at least two years of office and customer service experience, who have the desire to grow and develop with a compassionate, customer service driven and positive-minded team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESP0NSIBILITIES:

Contacting customers for routine monthly orders

Collecting prescription and other medical documentation

Checking insurance eligibility and obtaining insurance authorization

Processing orders electronically and dispensing medical supplies

Following up with required paperwork

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both on the phone and in person

A history of being efficient and detail-oriented, with good follow through

The ability to work independently and set priorities

The ability to multi-task with superb organizational skills

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Office experience minimum two years

Customer service experience minimum one year
