Our Los Angeles based Business Management CPA, Tax, and Audit firm is looking for a Project Manager to join our IT team.
We are looking for an experienced individual with a background in Project Management as well as tax and accounting software support.
We are looking for an experienced individual with a strong background in IT Project Management and IT with 7-10 years’ experience in a professional environment. This is a dual position that will provide both IT project management and other non-technical business-related duties. Extensive experience in managing IT projects is a must.
Develop and implement project management tools and methodology as needed
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the sound execution of projects
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within the scope and within budget
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress for each project
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
Report and escalate to management as needed
Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Present oral and written reports defining plans, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels of management.

· Network Security and Firewalls
o IPSec Tunnels
o Intrusion Detection Systems/Intrusion Prevention Systems
o Single Sign-On and Multifactor Authentication
o Assist in Implementing security standards and policies
§ Familiarity with ISO is a plus
· MS Office 365
· MS Office Upgrades 2010/2013/2016
· Patch Management Systems (Altiris, etc.)
· Accounting and Financial Services related software implementation and migration
o Advent, GFR, AdvanceFlow
· Coordinate office moves/relocations
· Writing executive-level summaries and narratives
· Coordinating litigation related to electronic information discovery
· Assist in developing policies
o Document Retention

PMI Certification preferred
