The Senior Engineering Project Manager's primary responsibility will be to drive the execution of multiple engineering projects and initiatives in an FDA regulated environment.   This position will build and manage relationships of internal and external resources in order to effectively implement project initiatives that drive productivity results, optimize value, and promote growth. This role interacts with individuals from Operations, Regulatory, Quality and marketing. Potential international travel involved.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Lead end to end engineering project design, development, and execution.
  • Responsible for defining performance criteria, developing timelines, estimating budgets, and managing spend.
  • Responsible for facilitating cross-functional engineering project activities to ensure committed deliverables and timelines are achieved on time.
  • Make methodical fact-based decisions derived on data which are critical to the success of each project.
  • Identify, develop, and manage cross functional project risk register with the goal of preventing risks from impacting project deliverables.
  • Build strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continued alignment and success - before, during, and post project implementations.
  • Display strong communication skills (Oral & Written) in diverse environments with multiple stakeholders
  • Identify & drive the implementation of improvements to all facets of project management and project execution.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, or other relevant fields.
  • 7+ years of project management experience in implementation of new products, derivative products, or product changes into a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Experience with product development in an FDA regulated environment
  • Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Experience with products requiring UL, CE, CSA etc., certifications
  • Medical device experience
