We are currently seeking a Maintenance Manager to join our team.

"Maintenance Manager" is described as an individual that can perform and coordinate all maintenance to short term rent ready homes, implement procedures, oversee daily operations, audit staff work completion, manage budgets, coordinate vendor services, and communicate with all departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing staff, supply inventory, and household assets within the Rentyl,'Rent Ready', inventory while adhering to annual budgets and auditing staff and contractor performance.
  • Inspecting each property on a regular basis to ensure each site is meeting Rental Standards
  • Implementing maintenance procedures and protocols for all on site teams, implementing policies, procedures and guidelines to be used throughout the company and identifying procedural challenges to enhance operational efficiencies
  • Implementing a training program for the maintenance teams (including, but not limited to, identifying annual training courses, monthly safety, emergency preparedness training, etc.)
  • Analysis of work orders on a regular basis to identify areas for improvement, such as identifying solutions that will enable the maintenance team to work more efficiently and effectively
  • Conduct daily audits of staff, inventory, tools, equipment, and brand standards.
  • Conduct recruitment, recognition, and disciplinary actions of all subordinates
  • Working with on-site Service Managers and staff to troubleshoot major deficiencies.
  • Maintain standards of preventive maintenance programs
  • Implement Standards of Excellence for the maintenance team
  • Actively participate with construction and vendors on identifying product or design pros and cons
  • Overseeing acceptance of new units (maintaining unit walk checklists and punch lists, interior and exterior walks, warranty walks and implementing maintenance preventive schedules for each new property)
  • Maintain all support inventory assigned to the department (tools, vehicles, facilities).
  • The manager will be available as a resource for subordinates at all times during scheduled work week.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years multi-family property maintenance experience
  • 3+ years property maintenance management experience preferred
  • 2+ years in hospitality management or other service industry
  • Bachelor's degree and/or CAMT certification preferred but not required
  • Desired maintenance certifications (EPA refrigerant certification, CPO)
  • Extensive knowledge of all mechanical components, structural standards, and trim out standards in a residential SFU and MDU.
  • Ability to read and apply blueprints, schematics, and repair manuals.
  • Proficiency with Home Automation Systems, MS Teams,Inventory Control Software, Property Management Software, Ticketing Systems, and Accounting Software.
  • Self-motivated, results driven with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent organizational, communication and negotiating skills
  • Strong motivator with proven effectiveness at managing people
  • Strong financial background with experience in bidding jobs and managing budgets EPA Certification
  • Firm knowledge of MS Excel and Word
  • Flexible and long hours sometimes required including working weekends, holidays, and hours exceeding 40+
