Parts Warehouse Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Parts & Warehouse Specialist. In this position your focus is on the fulfillment and shipping of all parts orders. You will be responsible for performing various tasks including receiving inventory, organization and stocking of all incoming parts purchased, other duties assigned as needed in the warehouse.

COMP:

• $17/hr. - $20/hr. depending on experience.

SHIFT:

• Days, starting at 8am.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fulfillment, packing, shipping, documentation.

• Parts receiving and stock shelves.

• Forklift operation for fulfillment/stocking of motors and larger parts.

• Assist with pulling equipment inventory, crating/uncrating of machines, labeling and loading of equipment for carriers.

• Minor building maintenance includes snow shoveling, changing light bulbs, and emptying garbage bins.

• Assist with weekly cycle counts and physical inventories.

• Basic forklift maintenance.

• Cleaning

• Wear proper PPE.

• Adhere to all company safety and operation procedures and policies.

• Other duties assigned as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Prior working experience in a warehouse/manufacturing setting.

• Forklift Certification and a minimum of 6 years prior forklift experience required.

• Strong mechanical aptitude.

• Forklift maintenance skills.

• Basic woodworking skills and knowledge/experience in operation of wood working tools.

• Basic math skills.

• Comfortable using hand/power tools.

• Good attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills verbally and written.

• Time management skills.

• Problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work as part of a team.

• Ability to multitask while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic computer skills.

• Familiar with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

• Physical ability to work 8+ hours/day standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, lifting.

• Physical ability to lift to 50 pounds.
