The Associate Designer is responsible for delivering effective, aesthetic, on-brand, and on-strategy creative for marketing campaigns, digital marketing, web, email and social media. This position will need to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts and other designs.
Create designs for direct mail, social media graphics and banners, digital ads and banners, email campaigns, convention displays, print advertising and print collateral.
Translate product positioning, existing research and marketing strategies into effective designs.
Work with Manager of Content, Product Managers, Production Manager and Graphic Designers to translate and create marketing requirements into compelling, appropriate campaigns and designs.
Produce digital design work, including photo research, banner sizing and development of digital ads
Ensure aesthetics are aligned with brand standards to maintain consistency and integrity of the creative vision.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education: College Degree in digital design, graphic design, graphic communication or equivalent graphic design/communications experience.
Experience: 2 years’ experience in graphic design desired.
Skills: Must have a strong portfolio of design work, showing solution to business problems through effective design. Able to present concepts and lead internal teams to the correct solution. Must have experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Must have a strong work ethic and personal accountability. Requires good verbal, time management, written, interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to handle multiple projects. Requires attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
