NCD is seeking a data driven Director of Marketing to lead both agent and consumer Marketing strategies. This person will become a marketplace expert with a keen understanding of our customer needs and psychological drivers, innovative technologies, analytics, and sales with the goal of increasing market awareness and driving growth. Further, this role will provide support across all Marketing activities including marketing communication, branding and direct response marketing strategy and execution. You will be expected to develop an in-depth understanding of our products and their respective consumers and develop recommendations that will drive business growth.
This position offers the flexibility to work from home.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee NCD brand alignment across all channels including websites, email, SMS, and social media.
Lead both paid and organic marketing campaigns to agents, brokers, and customers.
Keep our marketing content current and up to date to keep agents, brokers, and consumers excited about our products.
Lead innovation projects in support of the brand’s innovation strategy. Take a data driven approach to generating ideas, validate those ideas and then scale those validated ideas.
Work with cross-functional departments to develop new processes, systems, and materials to ensure effective marketing alignment across the company
Lead the execution of new marketing technologies across the organization while building a deep understanding of the company's marketing technology stack.
Learn and understand regional insights, demographics, and psychographics to influence marketing plans.
Proactively propose improvements to existing processes and drive implementation within marketing.
Establish and drive marketing technology roadmaps that align with current and future business needs that focus on the competitive advantages and consumer insights that are required to win business.
Present branding architecture strategies in a narrative format to drive timely response and decision-making.
Build and maintain agent, partner and customer personas based on 1st party and 3rd party data.
Take learnings from past campaign data and adapt plans and recommendations to optimize the customer experience and to meet company KPIs and goals.
Customer Marketing and Sales Support through presentation development and analysis.
Synthesize data provided from Analytics to create a more streamlined story to internal stakeholders and cross functional partners.
2+ years of digital marketing experience.
A proven track record of creating successful marketing campaigns tied to specific and measurable results.
Knowledge of email best practices including subject lines, messaging, segmentation, list management and hygiene, deliverability, and CAN-SPAM compliance
Demonstrated deep understanding of the current and emerging marketing technology landscape and experience formulating solutions with a customer-focused attitude to meet business needs and drive growth.
Results driven with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across varying levels of personnel.
Hands on Marketer with a strong attention to detail.
Insurance experience is a plus
Strong copywriting experience
Experience working with CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
Experience using email & SMS communication platforms such as (SendGrid, Active Campaign, MailChimp etc.)
Zapier knowledge is a plus
HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus
Proficiency with photoshop is a plus
Facebook, Google Ads, or other pertinent certifications is a plus
