SAVA is looking to hire a Senior Systems Administrator to support avery large complex operational environments for one of our valuable customers, areputed Federal Agency in Sterling, VA\. The position requires technicalskills at Enterprise\-level and must be able to quickly and efficientlytroubleshoot, identify, and resolve technical issues\.
ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide expertise with Datacenter systems and operations
  • Administer and/or oversee systems for multiple projects and environments\.
  • Provide recommendations and insight to Datacenter customers as needed
  • Analyze system faults, review diagnostic tests and troubleshoot Windows Operating Systems and Enterprise Class applications to identify problems and find resolutions\.
  • Participate in integrated project teams and provide feedback and/or recommendations for Enterprise IT projects\.
Qualifications
ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Must have current DoD Secret Clearance\.
  • Provide expertise with Datacenter systems and operations\.
  • Administer and/or oversee systems for multiple projects and environments\.
  • Provide recommendations and insight to Datacenter customers as needed
  • Analyze system faults, review diagnostic tests and troubleshoot Windows Operating Systems and Enterprise Class applications to identify problems and find resolutions\.
  • Participate in integrated project teams and provide feedback and/or recommendations for Enterprise IT projects\.
  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with Datacenter technologies and systems management
  • 8 years of operational experience focused on supporting large\-scale Windows based environments is required
  • Demonstrated experience in Windows Server 2012/2016 administration including Active Directory replication, troubleshooting and monitoring is required\.
  • Prior experience in the below are required:
  • Managing complex assignments; working with a diverse technical team
  • Managing and troubleshooting Microsoft Active Directory
  • Experience integrating enterprise class IT solutions into large scale organizations is required\.
  • Experiencing administering web based applications \(IIS\) is required
  • Must be able to work collaboratively and cooperatively as a member of a team, but also work independently and apply sound judgment as needed
  • Capable of reviewing existing processes and identifying possible process improvements\.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks or projects at the same time and effectively prioritize what is most important is required
  • Well\-developed written and oral communication skills are required\.
  • Effective time management skills with respect to deadlines, priority changes, and interruptions is required
  • Expert knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel and Access
DesiredSkills:
  • Experience with Nlyte DCIM application
  • Understanding of Linux and SQL
  • Knowledge of reliable electrical power distribution systems as they apply to data center design\.
  • Knowledge of new approaches to data center architecture, including cloud computing, blade systems, and virtualization as well as their impact on data center design\.
  • Understanding of the state of the data center industry, how it fits in the larger IT infrastructure and helps meet business goals
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently and under pressure\.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and across organizational boundaries
  • Excellent task planning and monitoring skills, including the development of standard operating procedures\.
