Field Supervisor

2.0     BASIC FUNCTION

2.1.           Manages Field Technicians, as a working supervisor, which install and maintain security alarm systems, home automation systems, and video surveillance systems. Prepares estimates via site survey’s, working with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.

3.0     REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

3.1.           The Field Supervisor reports to the CEO.   

4.0     PROFESSIONAL

4.1            High school diploma or GED.

4.2            3 Years of experience in job and people management.

4.3            3 years of experience in security alarm system installation, network Installations, video surveillance installations, home automation installations, or equivalent.

4.4            ES-3 or ES-7 Certification preferred.

4.5            Basic construction experience. (Drilling holes in walls and running cable.)

5.0     RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES       

5.1.           Manage Field Technicians as a working supervisor.

5.2            Manage workflow and planning of jobs.

5.3            Install and maintain security alarm systems, basic home automation systems, video surveillance systems, and networks.

5.4            Efficiently program and configure security alarm systems, basic home automation systems, and video surveillance systems.

5.5            Must know system functionality and installed product well enough to perform site surveys and quotations to customers.

5.6            Must be able to lift 50lbs. or more.

5.7            Must be able to manage inventory.
