SQL Developer (Contract)

**This is a 3-6 month contract role

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Development of high quality database solutions
• Develop, implement, test, and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL
• Review and interpret technical and business requirements
• Research required data
• Analyze existing SQL queries for performance or maintainability improvements
• Suggest physical model changes
• Re-factor Oracle PL/SQL procedures and scripts for migration
• Provide timely scheduled management reporting
• Investigate exceptions with regard to systems testing

Requirements and Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role
• Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
• Some experience with Oracle including PL/SQL
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success

• Great interpersonal and communication skills
