Insurance Customer Service Representative

Our client is seeking an Insurance Customer Service Representative to join a great team! This is a direct hire position, health insurance starts on day 1!! You will handle customer service via phone and email.

Responsibilities:

  • Correspond and speak with customers answering questions, inputting data into the system.
  • Take accurate and detailed statements from customers
  • Calculate and approve payment of claims within a certain monetary limit

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service in a call center environment
  • Previous experience in insurance is a plus
  • Availability to work 8a-8pm shifts, you will bid for your shift
  • Experience in conflict resolution
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
