Human Resources Assistant
This position will provide data entry and clerical support for the Human Resources and Payroll department. Typical duties (but not limited to): data entry of employee information into ADP Workforce Now, assembling files and termination paperwork, collecting, maintaining and auditing I-9 information for work authorization, assisting with benefits and auditing invoices. The qualified individual must have the ability to work collaboratively and respectfully in a small HR department.
Performs data entry for various Human Resources transactions.
Assembles various human resources packets as necessary (new hire and/or termination paperwork).
Completes, reviews and files I-9 forms.
Creates files, labels, etc. for new employees.
Creates ID badge for employees.
Maintains and updates files.
Supports payroll with clerical tasks and auditing invoices.
Assists with employee benefit matters, open enrollment, etc.
Provides other administrative support to Human Resources and Payroll.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

One year previous experience working in Human Resources, with previous experience using ADP Workforce Now or other HRIS/payroll system.
Highly accurate data entry skills are required.
Very strong verbal and written communication is essential.
Excellent customer service skills along with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff is necessary in this role.
Must be very detail oriented with excellent follow up ability.
ADP Workforce Now and/or HRIS system background is needed.
Strong computer skills - MS Office (Excel and MS Word).
