Position: IT Field Service Technician
Location: Tampa, FL 33601 area (Field Service)
Pay Rate: 17.00/HR W2, plus mileage and travel expense
Hours: Full Time, Tues-Sat, 9AM-6PM, some on-call
Duration: Contract to Hire
Description: IT Field Service for clients in the Tampa area. Technicians will work on Desktops, Laptops, Printers, POS and Network hardware.
- Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
- Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
- Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
- Identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
- Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.
- 3 years plus supporting Desktops, Laptops and Printers
- 3 years plus with customer service experience
- Need to have Printer and POS troubleshooting experience
- Reliable Transportation (This is a driving position – reimbursed accordingly)
- Personable as they will be interacting with a wide range of users and environments
- Can work on a ladder of lift and are able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Able to work from a bent, crouched, or kneeled position
- Basic Hand Tools for computer repair
- Possess a valid driver’s license
