HOURS OF WORK: Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
LOCATION: 1200 E. 1st AvenueUnder the direction of the General Manager, provide advanced level administrative and executive services to the General Manager (GM). Function as the GM's confidential assistant. Prepare briefing packages, plan, schedule and perform a wider variety of administrative and clerical work for the MLP Commission. Assist the public with various inquiries by direct answer or reference to appropriate party within the Utility. Responsible for scheduling executive meetings and maintain the main conference room calendar. Respond to requests from MOA agencies and the MLP Commissioners. Perform purchasing and P-Card transactions; responsible for preparation of travel related documents for the GM. Apply professional administrative actions and procedures. Work diligently to meet critical deadlines for various projects. Maintain and adhere to confidentiality requirements regarding human resource documents as well as other sensitive utility related documents. Responsible for entering data into the PACE system. Receive and track grievances. Perform other related duties as assigned.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Finance or similar discipline and two (2) years of professional administrative experience.
Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Finance or similar discipline and four (4) years of professional administrative experience.
High school diploma, GED or equivalent and six (6) years of professional administrative experience
Must possess a valid State of Alaska driver's license by the time of hire.
- Experience creating transcriptions of meetings or events.
