Special Projects Coordinator, Business Intelligence

We are looking for an experienced Special Projects Coordinator with a focus on Business Intelligence to join our team. This individual will play a key role in the success of Mullins Mechanical by driving operational efficiency through the development and maintenance of SharePoint team sites, analytics, and BI solutions. This role reports to the Operational Projects Manager and will act as the technical expert on various operational projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the process of evaluating and implementing business technology solutions.
  • Determine the feasibility of automation opportunities.
  • Demonstrate innovation by identifying opportunities for further efficiency through automations or centralized reporting, namely those made up of repetitive manual tasks.
  • Develop and maintain various SharePoint intranet sites.
  • Leverage Power Automate to improve existing business processes.
  • Collaborate with management to identify key metrics and identify automated reporting solutions.
  • Using Power BI, develop, design, and maintain dashboard reports that allow management to digest key metrics and make data driven decisions.
  • Use programming, APIs, and RPA to ingest data and automate manual business processes across the organization.
  • Update or develop detailed process documentation as appropriate.
  • Regularly evaluate and update existing automation to meet the needs of the business.
  • Provide training & technical support to end users as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Proficient in M365, including SharePoint, Power Automate, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Microsoft’s Power Platform including Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.
  • Experience writing complex SQL queries, developing business intelligence and relational data models using ETL processes, and data warehousing preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous and self-motivated.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Work Location:  Mullins Mechanical office located in Carrollton, Georgia.
