Job DescriptionGeneral Responsibilities: Help maintain base area facilities as assigned and trained while providing friendly and respectful customer service Working knowledge and use of MSDS information, safety practices, and the Mt. Baker Ski Area Exposure Control Plan.Have a working knowledge of: Mt. Baker Ski Area mountain policies and procedures Familiarity of ski area facilities and services available Perform duties as trainedQualifications: Willingness to learn Must be 16 years or older Successful completion of the custodial training by an authorized Mt.
Baker Ski Area trainerGeneral Physical Requirements Bending, twisting, lifting and moving items throughout the day Ability to lift and move 30 pounds (or more depending on task) Standing and or sitting for long periods Climbing and descending stairs Shoveling and moving snow Standing and walking on compact snow and ice Perform repetitive tasks as necessaryNumber of Positions Available ... Approximate Hours:Seasonal Part Time: 5 (4-20 hrs/wk, typically 2-4 days/wk)Seasonal Variable Hour: 5 (25-40 hr/wk, typically 3-5+ days/wk)Starting Pay Rate:Rate begins at $15.25 with increases for experience, merit, and tenure possible.Potential for tip pool.Benefits:Accrued Paid sick leave.Off-duty skiing and riding privileges at Mt.
