A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN HVAC SALES CONSULTANT / IN-HOME COMFORT ADVISOR
As an HVAC Sales Consultant / In-Home Comfort Advisor, you start each day ready to personally connect with clients and offer them the best possible solutions for their home comfort needs. After warmly greeting each client and answering any questions they may have, you perform a comprehensive comfort survey and home analysis. You also take pictures of all existing work. Then, you recommend the appropriate products and explain their associated benefits as well as all guarantees and warranties.
When you make a sale, you'll handle all paperwork. You perform calculations for HVAC work, invoicing, and ensure collection of payment. With great attention to detail, you make a complete and accurate list of all equipment and materials needed to complete installations. If temporary heating or cooling is required, you deliver and pick up equipment.
To stay at the top of your game, you participate in all required staff meetings and training. You enjoy meeting new people, working at new locations, and that no two days are exactly the same. At the end of the day, you feel good about having facilitated more comfortable homes at fair prices for your clients.
• 3+ years of sales experience
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
Experience in the HVAC industry preferred, but not required. Are you an energetic go-getter with a desire to excel? Do you love meeting new people and establish good rapport easily?
