Job Description

Mountain West Farm Bureau is currently hiring for a full-time Business Analyst to join our team and helps translate the needs of the business with the use of technology by determining strategies for gathering business and functional requirements. This position works with project managers to ensure scope and timeline clarity for small to mid-scale projects. This full-time position is located in Laramie, WY, but has remote possibilities in WY, MT or CO, and typically works 40 hours per week between 8 am to 5 pm, Monday-Friday. Additional work hours on weekends may be required depending on demand. You can expect a competitive wage between $4,600 - $5,900 per month, depending on location and experience.

In this full-time position, you will operate in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing these job duties, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear and is frequently required to stand, walk and occasionally lift and move office products or supplies. The following are required to assist in the duties performed by a Business Analyst:

  • High school degree or GED.
  • Three years’ work experience as a business analyst (BA), product owner or project manager.
  • Experience working with Waterfall and Agile systems development life cycles (SDLC).
  • Knowledge SQL and relational database experience.
  • Knowledge of up and down stream system integrations.
  • Experience in video conferencing programs.
