Job Description

The Territory Manager is directly responsible for driving the overall fuel performance for C-Stores within their designated region as well as protecting all company assets within each location. The Territory Manager develops strong relationships within their dealer network to drive excellence in the following areas: fuel company programs, volume targets, environmental compliance, and contract adherence. Further, the Territory Manager will be responsible to leverage their relationships to drive additional dealer volume and define geographic areas of growth.

Major/Key Accountabilities

  • Manage relationships with all dealers within assigned territory
  • Ensure all locations are fully compliant to all aspects of the supply agreement
  • Ensure all physical assets are fully operational and compliant
  • Maintain site inspection reports and inventory audits. Resolve open items as required.
  • Work with dealers to drive volume at C-store locations
  • Ensure all C-store locations are fully compliant to fuel company programs
  • Resolve all customer and dealer issues with urgency and own the resolution
  • Ensure all dealer’s accounts are in good standing and manage any open AR
  • Ensure dealer pricing is monitored on an hourly/daily basis and adjustments made adhering to location strategy
  • Diagnose technical POS issues remotely and work with the dealer to resolve
  • In coordination with the Operations Control Center, ensure continuous uninterrupted supply of product to dealers

  • External: Dealers, fuel companies, haulers, repair technicians, auditors, regulatory compliance officials

Qualifications

  • Bachelors in Operations/Supply Chain or Relevant Experience

Experience

  • 2+ years of relevant C-store industry or fuel wholesale experience
  • Strong customer focus orientation
  • Demonstrated success in driving results
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally
  • Experience working with POS, credit card transactions, and financial transaction systems
  • Experience managing vendor programs, compliance, and contractual agreements
  • Understanding of supply chain practices and metrics
