We are looking for a sharp, enthusiastic, professional to become part of the energy and join our Plant Engineering Team where you will engage in our efforts to improve patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, and operational efficiency. Requirements: Develops and maintains familiarity with equipment operating manuals and procedures and operates within the design parameters. Analyzes readings of meters, gauges, and monitoring equipment to detect equipment problems.
Identifies and solves problem with limited supervision. Records in watch logs all readings pertinent to operations and trend analysis, including the reporting of all unusual situations or incidents. Completes water treatment analysis as scheduled to boilers, cooling towers, eater softeners, condense and process water.
Cleans, paints, and performs "housekeeping" duties in Energy Center and remote machine rooms. Maintains working conditions at all times making sure floors are not slippery, access to equipment is adequate, tools and parts are properly stored, etc. Analyzes all closed loop CHW/Hot Water circulation chemical treatment results in order to maintain chemical treatment within design parameters.
Completes minor and major repairs and adjustments to equipment using hand tools, power tools, instruments, gauges, measuring equipment and precision tools. Completes major and minor repairs within time frames established by Supervisor. Evaluates needs and alerts supervisor to special requirements and the need to requisitions parts/supplies ordering only what is necessary.
Keeps tools or equipment used in good condition and returns storeroom tools promptly. Follows the maintenance schedule and completes all tasks. Keeps machinery in excellent working order and appearance by keeping painted and clean, etc.
