Job Description

Success Factors – Director Of Client Service

The successful candidate will build, foster, and maintain healthy interdepartmental teamwork with client service representatives in support of our clients, patients, Doctors, technical and financial staff in our 24-hour hospital reception, appointment, and financial operations.  In this role you will apply strategic thinking, problem-solving, team building with an entrepreneurial mindset to make a lasting impact.  Work together with primary care, emergency room, ICU, Exotics as well as specialty departments to ensure operational excellence and a strong partnership with his/her team.

 As the Director of Client Services, you will apply your ingenuity and relationship-building skills to ensure overall success of our customer accounts, staff training, career development as well as performance management.  Engage and enable the growth of our Client Service Representatives, Supervisors and Leads while delivering white glove client service. 

Enable the growth of our Client Service Representatives, Appointment, and financial teams and coordinate efforts in support our veterinarians, and our technical staff to deliver the highest level of patient care.  Ensure a seamless experience from check-in to check-out that delivers on expectations of our clients.  Support the growth of our talent.  Develop durable relationships with our clients and key decision makers and foster a holistic understanding of their needs. Lead quarterly business reviews, secure customer case studies and earn customer references.  Qualifications and Educational Success Factors

10+ years operational experience in client services, Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, proven leadership skills, including the ability to identify high value talent, build teams, mentor, and develop team members and inspire performance that exceeds expectations, possesses executive presence, emotional intelligence and is comfortable engaging in discussion at all levels within the organization.  Ability to performance management, career development while partnering with Human Resources to enable employee engagement and growth.  Identify proper gearing ratios and staffing levels for all shifts.  Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.  Detail-oriented with solid project management follow-through. Natural sense of curiosity and a desire to help people and patients. 

Physical Requirements:  

This job is physically active and requires frequent bending and standing for long periods of time. It requires routine lifting and restraining animals. Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.  

Full time and all shifts available. Flexible work schedule (ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays)  Medical/Dental/Vision offered; CE allowance, 401K, paid time off and discounted veterinary care.
