Summary/Objective
The Electrician is responsible for a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure. This includes, but is not limited to, installing electrical wiring in mobile facilities, troubleshooting, and repairing malfunctions.
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
• Install, service and repair electrical panels, wiring, lighting, and fixtures as well as electrical equipment and machinery
• Install safety and distribution components (switches, receptacles, circuit-breaker panels, etc.)
• Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions
• Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment for containerized and other mobile facilities
• Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
• Work with engineering team to plan, create, modify and improve wiring diagrams/schematics
Skills and Specifications
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulation guidelines
• Thorough understanding of NEC regulations
• Read and interpret owner's manuals, equipment schematics and work orders.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Ability to take direction and work well with a team
• Demonstrated ability to use electrical and hand tools (wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.)
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Work Environment
This job operates in workshop, facility, and field environments. We operate 24/7/365, inside and outside, in all weather conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, hand tools, site equipment and vehicles, and is required to use and wear standard PPE, which will be provided by the company. There is an expectation of clear communication in English both written and orally.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Ability to twist, turn, bend, lift, kneel, climb and stand. Lifting of up to 75 lbs may occur. Employee may be required to travel (at organization expense) in automobile and/or aircraft. Expectation of exposure to weather (heat, cold, rain, snow) as operations occur in all areas of the country.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends will be required based on contract needs.

Required Education and Experience
• High School diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an electrician, with experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
• Valid/Current Electrical license
Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable)
• Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
• Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, and background check after accepting a conditional offer of employment
• Must possess a valid driver's license. Have/maintain a clean driving record.
