In this position, you will manage a team of Recruiters, interview associates for assignments and generate sales through the fulfillment of our customer's employee needs for our Westaff branches in Barre, Vermont and Lyndonville Vermont.  Some local travel is expected.   


  • Establish goals and objectives with clearly defined timeframes for the margin-generating colleagues in your branch; including Sales Managers, Personnel Supervisors, and yourself.


  • Work closely with your team to define a strategy for how each of these production goals and objectives will be met.  Out of the box thinking is a must!


  • Communicate these goals, objectives, and incentives to your staff regularly. Review performance against the defined goals weekly. Keep the vision alive in your branch!

Customer Service

  • Establish a high standard of customer service within your branch and hold yourself and your team accountable for continuously exceeding that standard.


    • Continually recruit in order to staff your internal teams and your Customer needs with the most qualified colleagues for each position. You are the leader of your team and you are the person primarily responsible for ensuring the right people are employed in the right responsibilities.


    • Ensure that proper orientation and training are immediately provided to new colleagues and that your staff are receiving continual development opportunities.


    • Oversee the scheduling, attendance, and overall performance of your Team.




      • Oversee the performance of your staff as they administer daily procedures such as recruiting and screening temporary associate benefits.
      • Must be computer literate and savvy with Microsoft Office products and Interactive Databases.  



      • Lead from the heart. You are expected to work from your desk managing the operations in two small Branches, as well as, spending time in the field at customer locations and participating in potential customer meetings.


      • Create and maintain motivation in the branch by creating an exciting and enthusiastic environment through sales promotions, innovative ideas, personalized goals, and reward programs.


      • Reinforce and celebrate the programs, contests, and incentives provided by Corporate.


      Direct the activities of the branch through delegation and effective time management. Maximize your effectiveness by delegating duties and responsibilities to your staff. Be actively involved and follow up on all responsibilities you delegate.


      • Address any issues immediately with the appropriate staff members with clear communication of expectations.


      • Attend civic and social groups. Being part of your community is part of our company Vision at MFG.


      Sales and Sales Interaction with our Sales Manager

      1. Personify the Team Leader role by working with our internal staff and Sales Manager.
      2. Ensure new customer onboarding process is followed per policy
      3. Participate in client promotions, lunches, and other methods of generating long-term goodwill.
      4. Document all Customer and Associate interactions in our database in real time. 
      5. Establish and review weekly, quarterly, and annual sales goals with General Manager.
      6. Develop new business through effective sales activities.
      7. Maintain existing accounts by providing excellent customer service.
