Motor Truck Thermo King has an exciting career opportunity in our new unit sales division. We are looking for a motivated self-starter to handle unit sales within our Thermo King territory. You will work with local businesses to determine which units are best for their operation, and why Thermo King is the Leader in Transport Refrigeration.
*Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing and potential customers.
*Market and Sell Thermo King products which consist of Trailer and Truck Refrigeration units, Auxiliary Power units, and Thermo King Connected Solution products.
*Manages and updates the CRM call log.
*Regularly follows up on inbound inquiries and sales leads.
*Prospects and cold –calls on businesses and organizations.
*Maintain Positive business relationships to ensure future sales.
*Expedite the resolution of customer complaints and problems to maximize customer satisfaction.
*Achieve agreed upon targets and outcomes within schedule.
*Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
*Continuously improve through Feedback.
*1-2 years of prior sales experience.
*Knowledge of refrigeration and/or the heavy duty trucking industry very helpful, but willing to train the right idividual.
*A degree in Sales and/or Marketing helpful but not necessary.
*Excellent communication, selling, and negotiation skills.
*Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.
