Position Overview:

Motive Health Inc., a cutting-edge healthcare consumer company in Scottsdale, is hiring an Intern for summer of 2023 to support product development activities for a medical device.  We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Summer Intern for Mobile App and Website Testing. This internship opportunity offers valuable hands-on experience in supporting the testing processes for our mobile app and website, as well as contributing to writing comprehensive test reports. This role will provide insights into the quality assurance practices within the MedTech industry, and an opportunity to work closely with our development and QA teams.

Responsibilities:

-         Conduct thorough testing of our mobile app on various devices (iOS and Android) to ensure optimal functionality, usability, and compatibility.

-         Perform website testing across different browsers and platforms to identify and report any issues or inconsistencies.

-         Collaborate with the development team to understand new features, enhancements, and bug fixes, and verify their successful implementation.

-         Document test cases, test scenarios, and test data to ensure complete test coverage.

-         Execute test cases and track defects in our bug tracking system, providing detailed and accurate descriptions.

-         Assist in writing clear and concise test reports, summarizing test results, and providing actionable recommendations for improvement.

-         Collaborate with the QA team to continuously improve testing processes and contribute to the overall quality of our products.

-         Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in mobile app and website testing.

Qualifications:

-         Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

-         Strong understanding of mobile app and web technologies, including iOS and Android platforms, web browsers, and responsive design.

-         Familiarity with testing methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking.

-         Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent attention to detail.

-         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically.

-         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

-         Proficiency in using bug tracking tools and test management systems is a plus.

Duration:

This is a full-time summer internship position with a duration of 12 weeks. The start and end dates can be flexible based on the availability of the candidate and the needs of the company.

The candidate is required to be local in Phoenix metropolitan area.
